Scarborough's Open Air Theatre, now completely refurbished, was unveiled today in style with a visit from the Queen and Prince Philip.
As official display and print partners for the theatre, the adverset team were in attendance to witness the official opening and unveiling of a plaque by Her Majesty, The Queen.
A full morning of
entertainment from Tony Peers Productions, Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round and other local art organisations was enjoyed by an audience of 6,500, including dignatories, council officials, local businesses and 2,000 school children who were in great voice.
The Open Air Theatre, which is the largest of it's kind in Europe, was developed by Apollo Resorts & Leisure on behalf of Scarborough Borough Council.
