We can produce several types of proof for press passing: digital, high resolution PDF, laserproof, or on-press proofing. Laserproofs and PDFs are produced free of charge.
> digital
We can produce a high resolution digital inkjet proof which is profiled to match the relevant press on which the work will be produced. Chargeable.
> high resolution PDF
The most economical and convenient methods is for us to send a PDF proof via e-mail, elimating the lengthy process involved with ‘hard’ proofs. Note: Extra vigilance is required with this method when checking proofs.
We create a high res. PDF file from your artwork at any given stage and e-mail it to you for checking along with an artwork approval form. Free service.
> on-press proofing
We can supply a printed press proof, calibrated as if ready to run. Alternatively, on high profile work, we can arrange for you to visit and pass the work on press yourself. Chargeable.
> press profiling
If you have a high resolution printer, we can set up a PDF profile which will match our press.
