Weatherproofing is achieved through a combination of our use of colourfast solvent inks, lamination and coating, and is applicable to both foamex mounted displays and outdoor posters.

Posters
On large format poster work where the item is to be pasted onto an outdoor billboard or exposed to the elements, a specialist durable 'blue-back' opaque paper is used to avoid 'show through'. This material in conjunction with a coating ensures the life of the poster through most weather conditions with a guarantee against fade for 4 years.

Displays
Once laminated our foamex display panels are also waterproof and guaranteed against fade for 4 years. Hence they are very suitable for economical short term exterior signage where the information is likely to change within 2-3 years.
