Bringing the outside inside

The spectacular locality of Southend Theatre has been celebrated by the production and installation of a 43 metre long feature wallpaper in the ‘Mezzanine Bar’ area of the theatre. We were entrusted with designing, printing and fitting a wallcovering which featured a sea front beach hut vista including a vivid summer sky on the curved ceiling above.

‘The printed wallpaper mural brightens up the area remarkably and creates a strong link to our association with the sea and our location – customers love the feeling of sitting in a beach front location setting whilst enjoying a pre-show drink’, said Theatre Marketing Manager Paul Driscoll.

The feature was printed onto a high textured wallpaper material using our HP Latex machine using environmentally friendly inks and fitted in a 2-day slot between shows.
