Of course. We are happy to be involved at any stage of the production process. You can either provide your own concept/ideas for us to put the artwork together, or supply completed files for just printing. We will as standard supply you with initial PDF proofs of your artwork. Before printing, we will supply a high resolution PDF proof for approval. All of this is included in your design and artweork cost. Hard copy colour laser proofs and/or a high resolution press match proof are available on request at an additional cost.

Absolutely. All our mainstream paper stocks are responsibly managed by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). We use vegetable and water based inks and all our substrates, wherever possible, are environmentally-friendly and sourced carefully. Find out more and read our green policy

It would depend on the specification, but the vast majority of print jobs we can handle in house. In a case where we can’t, or where we deem that we would not be competitive on price, we have a list of preferred suppliers which we can either refer you to or we can manage the project on your behalf.

It would depend on the specification, but we can handle print runs up to 500,000 depending on the size of the finished printed product. Where we feel the run length is too long to be produced competitively, we have a list of preferred suppliers which we can either refer you to or we can manage the project on your behalf.

Due to our digital print department, we can economically produce anything from 1 x copy upwards, even on brochure work.

We can print 5 colours in one pass, so traditionally this would be 4 colours (CMYK) and then a special Pantone colour or metallic ink. We can print any number of colours with additional runs through the press, but 5 colours is the most economical.

Yes, this would be produced on our smaller B3 2-colour press. We handle a lot of this type of work, particularly black only work.

Yes, we have a variety of cutting form styles and can produce anything from an oversize A4 low capacity folder, to a 10mm capacity folder with interlocking flaps. We can also die cut most printed products to shape, a large percentage of this is done in-house on our 2-colour press.

Any number of pages, but for twin wire stitched brochures we would recommend not going any higher than 48 psges plus cover. Above that pagination, we would recommend perfect binding which involves a glued on square spine cover.

630mm x 720mm in-house for sheet fed litho printing. But we can print up to any size by utilising one of our preferred suppliers. In our display department we can print up to 1500mm wide x any length on our roll fed machines. This is useful for double crown, 4-sheet and 6-sheet posters as well as a full range of display products.

Yes, due to the versatility of our XL75 press, we can print onto packaging board. Your packaging would be then die cut to shape accordingly. We can also produce design for packaging.

Absolutely. We produce a vast amount of large format posters, particularly for the theatre and entertainment industries. We use a blue-back poster paper which is opaque and has no show through properties. This means that the printed poster can be either billboarded/pasted over another poster, or placed in a frame over another printed product without the item beneath showing through.

For longer quantities of 100 and above, we can print up to B2 size on this product on our litho press. A1, AO, double crown, double royal, 4-sheet & 6-sheet posters – and any bespoke size – are all produced in our display department on a wide format printer.

Yes, we can either print onto pre kiss-cut label sheets or ‘crack’ back material to any size on our litho presses. Alternatively we can print kiss-cut labels in our display department using our print and cut machine.

We deliver to all parts of the UK and Ireland and can ship to countries outside of the UK on request.

Yes indeed. We produce a large quantity of personalised gift wrap both for the consumer and business. This is produced in our display department using a wide format printer and is printed to any size, supplied either as sheets, rolls or to a bespoke made-to-measure brief.

Yes, in certain instances, depending on the product, if requested in advance. Providing your artwork is approved and print-ready we can turn round your requirement in one day.

Much would depend on the extent of your product. Here’s some guidance:

• Our standard turnaround for printing would be 3 working days, but we offer a next day service if requested.
• Our standard for soft Signage & Display work would be 4 to 5 working days. Again, express turnarounds can be requested.
• For fabricated and illuminated Signage our standard would be 28 days, again dependant upon the complexity of the product/order.

Yes, not a problem. We can fit any aspect of your signage, from soft internal signage to external fabricated signage with illumination. We are also happy to advise on logistics for removing existing signage.

Should you wish us to produce your signage but then use a local fitter for installation, then this is fine with us also.

Absolutely. We have established a stand-alone service for our personalised wallpaper service which is branded as PICTOWALL. The service operates out of our Scarborough office, along with all our other manufacturing.

You can either order or discuss your requirements through a call/meeting to adverset, or utilise our powerful PICTOWALL e-commerce website. The site offers over 25 million images for you to choose from. You can then select an image/picture of your choice, enter your wall size and obtain an instant price. You can then show your wall in several different environments to get an idea of the finished result. Once you are happy you can either order on-line or contact us with your order. Yes, we are asked for these regularly. All of our floor graphics are produced with an anti-slip coating and come with a Health & Safety 6-month guarantee.

Being very popular with retail outlets and showrooms, we can also cut your floor graphic to any shape of your choice or our design, using our print and cut machine.

Yes, this is very popular nowadays and has really taken over from canvas prints. Printed acrylics are popular in the home and for business, all our perspex displays come pre-drilled with a choice of studs/wall stand-offs, for a clean, smart finish.

We can also supply ‘sandwich’ acrylic frames. These are handy for holding pre-printed items such as certificates or posters. We can supply either of the above to any size.

Yes, we make all our external signage waterproof as standard. This is achieved through the use of waterproof light fast inks and the addition of a laminate. Lamination comes in a choice of matt or gloss, depending on the finish you require.

Contravision is a specialist adhesive vinyl which we can print on and apply to the exterior of a window. It has specially designed ‘honeycomb’ holes in it, the result being that it is ‘see through’ from inside, but not from the outside.

This is particularly useful for theatres and retail businesses who prefer customers to be able to ‘see out’ of the building, but wish to carry advertising on the outside of the window. Contravision also allows light to come in, so retains a feeling of light and space.

Yes, we have a team of 8 designers, who are all familiar with ‘design for display’. We will take photographic references, make practical and style recommendations and then produce visuals of proposed signage for approval before commencing production.

Yes, no problem. We offer several styles of frosted vinyl as follows:

• Standard frosted vinyl (plain, smooth frosted finish).
• Etched finish frosted vinyl (slightly textured etched glass effect finish).
• Glitter finish frosted vinyl (glitter finish which catches the light).

We CAD cut your vinyl to shape and fit on site. We also offer a design service and can provide visuals to give an impression of how the vinyl will look when fitted.

All our displays are guaranteed not to fade for at least 4 years. The exception to this would be if the display was permanently facing direct sunlight, in which case this period might be reduced in certain instances. The more information you can give us about the siting, the better the advice we can give you on longevity.

Yes, these are popular for retail and offices and can be printed and cut to any shape. The specialist pavement adhesive vinyl material adheres to concrete surfaces and is ‘heated in’. A non-slip laminate provides protection and carries a non-slip guarantee.

In effect, yes. We print onto a specialist brickwork vinyl which is heat sensitive. The vinyl is positioned on the wall and then ‘heated in’ to the surface. The effect is stunning and provides a ‘grafitti’ effect finish due to the vinyl taking on the characteristics of the brickwork.

Note: Your wall would need to be primed before fitting, unless already painted.

Yes, we tailor make all our banners to any size. All banners are printed with lightfast inks, guaranteed against fade for 4 years and totally waterproof. A set of tie-wraps comes as standard with each banner and unless otherwise notified, all banners are hemmed and eyeletted with a choice of nickel or brass eyelets.
